Splitting Heirs
by Freyda Thomas
The servants run the show in this original play, inspired by Jean-Francois Regnard's 18th Century farce Le Legataire Universel. They devise a plan to lure the master's money away in a trust but they need him to die first. With characters reminiscent of favorite commedia types, you'll be wrapped up in the wordplay and schemes in Splitting Heirs.
Dreamtime
by Maura Campbell
Dreamtime is inspired by the real life murders of two Dartmouth professors by teenage boys. Dreamtime uses a variety of expressionistic techniques and Aboriginal philosophy to explore this incomprehensible act of violence. Surprisingly, in spite of the grisly and senseless nature of the slayings, the play reveals the possibility of hope. Dreamtime is a definitive statement of what love is.
